Episode Two

Melissa Marshall is proud to present the newest addition to the No You Cant'cer Foundation, Melissa Marshall's Bag of Tricks and Ostomy Tips! Every Tuesday, Melissa will be back to introduce you to an all-new ostomy product, or accessory, and tell you where to get it. She will highlight products you may already have, some imported from other countries, and a few little items that you may have never thought to include in your own ostomy regimen.

For her second episode, Melissa introduced Aloe Freeze Gel with Lidocaine from Australian Gold. While not a traditional ostomy product, this aloe gel can help with skin irritation around the parastomal area. It is available in a gel, or a spray, and the added Lidocaine gives a slight numbing feeling that can help with general discomfort. This gel is available in most major grocery stores and pharmacies, but in the winter months. you can buy almost anything on Amazon!

Melissa also introduced a small product from her first episode; Huggies Natural Care Fragrance Free wipes, after she was contacted by a viewer. They are safe enough for newborns and don't contain and harsh or abrasive components. They're perfect for a quick clean up, or daily use. As an added bonus, they're also available anywhere that baby products are sold, such as pharmacies and grocery stores.

That's all for this episode of Melissa Marshall's Bag of Tricks and Ostomy Tips! We hope you learned a little something about these two unconventional ostomy products, and we'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments. You can also find us at the links below! Come back next Tuesday to see what's in Melissa's Bag of Tricks.
