Last week, Melissa had the pleasure of attending the 7th National United Ostomy Associations of America conference in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania as an exhibitor, entertainer, and as the new National Conference Social Director! She saw some old friends and met some new ones in the city of brotherly love. Since we could go on for days about the fabulous conference, we’ve compiled a short video with all the highlights.

Between educational lectures and a roaring twenties casino night, ostomates, caregivers, and professionals came together in a week of awareness and acceptance. Melissa found a new love for the community who opened its arms to her and her story. Two years from now, she hopes to see you all at the next national UOAA conference!
