
Hongkong Prize or Hk Lotto is an exclusive form of Hongkong Lottery that differs significantly from its counterparts due to the two distinct scales and formats it uses for sales. As one type of Hk Lotto Sales, however, this differs between its types.
Today (September 25), the eighth Inter-school Competition of Study Projects on Hong Kong History and Culture successfully came to a close at Hong Kong Museum of History. This competition aims at increasing students’ knowledge about Hong Kong history and culture as well as stimulating them to actively learn outside class through thorough investigation of historical events.
This year’s competition drew over 100 entries from 20 secondary schools with topics spanning various aspects of Hong Kong history and culture, such as how historical developments affected socio-political changes. All students presented their works in booklet form using various research methodologies in order to explore their chosen topic thoroughly.
As part of their selection criteria, judges based their choices on research methods and findings, clarity, presentation style, overall impact and significance of entries from each school competing in this event. Winners will be displayed from October through November at Hong Kong Film Archive along with those submitted from other competing schools.
HKFA is the world’s first fully online film awards ceremony and provides local filmmakers an incredible platform to demonstrate their talent and expand their reach. Hong Kong scientists were honored this year with the BOCHK Science and Technology Innovation Prize 2024, an esteemed accolade that recognizes their contributions in scientific research and the transformation of R&D results in Hong Kong SAR. BOCHK presented awards totalling over HK$2 Million to each of five categories sponsored by them this year.
China Daily journalists were the undisputed winners at this year’s Hong Kong News Awards, collecting 17 awards in nine categories to bring China Daily’s record up to 95 in 11 years. Winners maintained their tradition by lining up their obelisk-shaped trophies to take a group photo for posterity; yet the ceremony remained relaxed despite COVID-19 pandemic concerns and strict social-distancing rules at its venue.
